Caorle is the perfect place for getting about by bike. As well as taking a leisurely ride through the narrow streets in the old town centre, you can choose from a range of routes for tourists on dirt tracks, cycle paths, embankments by rivers and country lanes. Don’t miss:
- The route exploring Caorle and the lagoon on the “Casoni Trail”, which leads to Isola dei Pescatori. On the way, you’ll get a chance to take a look at “casoni”: traditional homes made of reeds and wood where fishermen, hunters and farmers once lived.
- The route exploring the old rural village of Ca’ Corniani, which is found in an area that was covered in marshes and the water of the lagoon before the 20th century. It is a place where time seems to stand still. Stop to admire the picturesque farmhouses and take a break in a local winery.
